Our Secure dog exercise arena

Purpose built, fully fenced arena with clean, soft, all weather surface.

Under cover area with space for seating, shaded areas to cool down and dog drinking station. Solid high fence provides total privacy.

Available to hire  seven days a week in blocks of 30 or 60 minutes for private use. Please contact us for commercial use.

Great for reactive dogs – private and quiet.

Ideal for dog agility, fly ball or dog training – groups or trainers who wish to run their own classes or workshops, please contact us to discuss.

The site is fully gated with very good security to ensure you and your dogs are safe.

On site free parking away from busy roads.

Dogs need playtime, not just walks!

We believe playtime helps keep your dog healthy, keeps their mind sharp and focused and is a great way to relieve stress. 

Basic training is essential for dogs, but they also enjoy challenges through play. 

They also love to just relax and blow off some steam!

Prices £12 for half an hour, £20 for one hour, Up to 3 dogs from the same family permitted for private use.

Contact us professional purposes e.g. training club / agility sessions, can be used in the evening.

When a booking is made, the hirer agrees to these terms and conditions

Payment is made online at the time of booking the session. 

Refunds cannot be given, but the session cost can be transferred to another time slot providing we receive 48hrs notice of cancellation.

The booking is for the client only and cannot be sub-let without prior agreement

Rules and reminders

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your allocated session and wait until the arena is vacant.  Please be prompt when leaving at the end of your session so that the next visitor is able to begin on time.

All dogs must be kept on the lead and under control until in the arena with the gates secured. Never leave your dog/s unattended in the arena

Please be mindful that visitors who use the arena may have reactive/dog aggressive dogs, so please allow plenty of passing space on entering and leaving the arena if other dogs are around. If your dog is a danger to others, please wait in the car until the space is vacant.

For XL Bully breeds, owners must wait with their dogs in the car until the arena is vacant and ensure no other dogs are around in the waiting area before exiting their vehicle.  XL Bully breeds are also required to wear a muzzle until they are secured in the arena. PLEAE READ GUIDANCE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE BEFORE BOOKING

Dog health and vaccinations.

We all love our dogs and want them to have fun, but we also want to keep them safe.  

Please ensure that all dogs are up to date with yearly vaccinations.  

Kennel cough vaccination is not a requirement but please make sure if your dog does have the kennel cough vaccine, that you don’t attend site within 2 weeks of having the intra nasal vaccination.  

You must not come to site if your dog has (or you suspect has) kennel cough.  A period of 4 weeks after symptoms have stopped is needed before your dog can use the arena again after having kennel cough.

Please do not bring your dog if it has been ill with sickness/diarrhoea within 48 hours of your session. If your dog is ill, please reschedule your session.

All dog dirt on site must be picked up. We are happy to dispose of waste but please bring your own poo bags and use the bin provided at the end of your session. Please be mindful that some dogs (unfortunately) like to eat poop, so this is particularly important to avoid dogs becoming ill.

Use of the Arena or Field

Smoking or Vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Failure to comply will result in you being asked to leave site.

Onsite parking is available. Please park respectfully so that other visitors have space to enter/exit the site without complication.

Please do not climb any gates or fences or enter any buildings on site.

You are welcome to bring your own toys/agility items but please ensure that these are packed away before your appointment is over.

Please be mindful of noise nuisance, if this is excessive you may be asked to leave the site

We have the right to refuse entry or evict customers from the premises if activities are deemed to be unreasonable.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, please ensure they stay with you in the paddock and are well behaved at all times. 

We reserve right to cancel any booking at any time (unsafe weather conditions, home emergency).

Payments must be made in advance via our online booking system. However, We appreciate not everyone has online access so we can take phone enquiry bookings and cash payment if necessary (repeat customers only – new customers must pay online prior to first appt please). Please bring appropriate change as limited cash is kept on site.

If you leave the field before your allotted time is over, you will still be charged for the full time

Professional hirers (dog walkers, trainers etc) must use their own insurance when using the field and must contact prior to any bookings being made

Disclaimer – keeping within the law regarding responsible dog ownership, you are completely responsible for you and your dog’s safety and welfare whilst at on the premises and surrounding private property. You should be in control of your dog at all times and we therefore will accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or death.

We have made our best efforts to ensure our field is fully fenced. Please bear in mind that if you dog is a jumper, or escape artist, they could clear any height or find a exit in a brick wall! We cannot guarantee the field is completely escape proof so please make sure you are happy with the space before letting your 4 legged friend run free.

Fields can have tripping hazards, holes etc, please watch out for these.

The use of the field or arena is entirely at your own risk and we do not accept any liability for damage, loss or injury incurred whilst using the facility.

Booking of the field acts as confirmation and agreement of the above.

Disclaimer

We make every effort to ensure the safety of both clients and dogs using the field or arena. By making a booking with us, you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, children and adults poses a risk of injury to yourself and your dog, and you agree to indemnify ourselves for all personal injury and damage to property while using the arena or field. You agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of your dog attending using the field or arena. You also agree to make any person who accompanies you to the session(s), or takes your place, aware that they are also there at their own risk. You understand and accept that your dog (and its behaviour) remains entirely your responsibility at all times. 

Banned/Restricted Breeds Compliance: Owners of banned or restricted breeds, such as the XL Bully, must adhere to all regulations stipulated by DEFRA and any government appointed bodies concerning the ownership and management of such breeds on the day they use our facility.

Specific Requirements Include (Updated 05.01.24):

      1. Handler-to-Dog Ratio:  If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the XL Bully/banned breed. If there are dogs from different households, any XL Bully or banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with their 1:1 handler.
      2. Field Sharing: Shared use of the field with other dogs is permissible if they are from the same household and subject to the points in item 1. If you are mixing dogs from different households, this is only permitted  if the dogs are acquainted, amicable, and devoid of aggression history. When mixing households any XL Bully or banned breed must remain muzzled and on a lead at all times. 
      3. Muzzle Protocol: Upon entry and exit, a muzzle must be worn, and it can only be removed after all gates are securely closed/locked. The muzzle must be reinstated before opening the gates when departing. See also notes in point 1. & 2.
      4. Lead Usage: Use leads upon entry and exit until inside the main field with gates securely closed/locked; reverse this process when leaving. See also notes in point 1. & 2.
      5. Registration and Paperwork: Registration of the dog on the IED and email us a copy of the relevant paperwork before your visit..
      6. Insurance Obligation: Owners must possess correct public liability insurance and email us a copy before your visit.
      7. Neutering and Microchipping: Dogs must be neutered and microchipped in line with Govt rules.
      8. Secure Gates: Ensure gates are securely closed and locked during field use.
      9. Additional Compliance: Agree to adhere to any supplementary rules mandated by our insurers or any reasonable requests from Naughty Paws, its representatives, or insurers in case of an incident.
      10. General Terms and Conditions: Comply with all our usual terms and conditions governing field use.
      11. You must email us with a proof of your IED & Insurance paperwork after booking and before first attendance.
