We will confirm your booking by email, please check your INBOX and JUNK BOX and inform us if you have not received your confirmation within 24hrs!

We are a small, bespoke luxury boarding kennels and all our rooms book up well in advance so availability is very limited. We provide excellent care for your dog and have a high staff to dog ratio, meaning your dog has lots of exercise and one to one care and attention.

Terms & Conditions of Boarding and Day Care at Broomhill Farm Luxury Dog Hotel & Cattery

Please read carefully and ensure you agree to our terms and conditions. By going ahead with your booking, the owner of the animal is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. If you are unsure about anything or have any questions regarding any of our terms and conditions of, please do not hesitate to contact us.

1. All new customers will need to complete our web-based booking form at the time of booking. We cannot accept any booking without this. Please be aware, your booking is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation with deposit request.

2. An UP TO DATE VACCINATION CERTIFICATE will be required at the time of admission of all animals. The full course of vaccinations, (including kennel cough – dogs only), worming and flea treatment must have been carried out at least 21 days prior to your boarding date.

3. DOGS – The Kennel Cough vaccine does not give 100% protection against Kennel Cough and the owner takes full responsibility for this. Broomhill farm will not be liable if the dog catches kennel cough whilst boarding.

4. VETERINARY ATTENTION – At Broomhill Farm your pet will receive the very best of care and attention. We advise that all pets are covered by your own insurance (the insurance should have adequate veterinary cover). All dogs & cats boarding and/or attending day care do so at the risk of the owner. Broomhill Farm cannot accept liability for any problems such as stress or ill-health arising from your pets visit.

We may, if required, act as guardian of your dog/cat if we are unable to contact the owner or the emergency contact supplied. We may take any action which we deem necessary in order to ensure the good health your pet. Should any pet require treatment, we reserve the right to call a veterinary surgeon and act upon their advice. The expense incurred is to be met by the owner of the animal NOT ourselves.

 If required, the owner acknowledges and gives full consent for us to obtain your pet’s medical history.

5. Full Payment is required by gocardless 7 days prior to arrival, You will be sent a secure payment link, If you cannot pay by Gocardless, at our discretion, we accept cash, debit card (in person only) or direct bank payment, so please contact us if required. Once your booking is paid for it is non-refundable. If payment is not received 7 days prior to arrival we cannot guarantee to hold your booking dates and we reserve the right at our discretion to cancel your booking.

When making a booking/deposit payment, we ask you to agree to the following as we do not issue refunds; a 25% non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure every booking. Once the deposit has been paid, we will do our best to allow boarding dates to be adjusted but this cannot be guaranteed.

In certain circumstances, if the booking is completely cancelled up to 14 days prior to the first day of boarding, we may at our discretion issue a credit to be used on a future booking within the next 12 months.

We do not give refunds for shortened stays or early returns; you will be charged for the full duration of your original booking. Cancellations after arrival are not refundable under any circumstances.

Any refunds given at our discretion will incur £5.00 admin fee.

Whilst we will do our best, we reserve the right to increase our daily rate proportionally without notice due to cost increases beyond our control.

6. No arrival or departures are allowed outside our opening time unless by prior arrangement

7. For the safety of our staff and other pets in our care, boarding dogs who have not stayed with us before will only be accepted after we meet with the dogs and the owner and we may insist on a trial day stay first. We reserve the right not to board your pet without explanation. We also reserve the right to cancel your booking if the dog has shown any signs of challenging/aggressive or destructive behaviour whilst with us.

We cannot board any dogs that fall within the scope of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or we suspect may fall under the act.

8. Any Medication that needs to be administered out of normal hours (07:30am – 17:30) must be discussed and agreed to directly with ourselves prior to boarding and will incur an extra charge.

9. For any animal that has not been collected WITHIN 14 DAYS of the scheduled departure date and no communication has been received from the owner or nominated agent of the pet to ourselves, we reserve the right to re-home, sell or otherwise dispose of the animal at our discretion.

10. We are open for boarding all year round including over Christmas and New Year, but close to customers on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day with reduced hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

We do not share any of your data, we only use the details provided in connection with your pet’s booking and our services to you.
